How credits work
Each AI message consumes a number of credits proportional to the tokens it uses (text in + text out + tools). The cost depends on the model and the tier:
- Light response in Palos: ~500-1,500 credits.
- Standard response in Luces: ~2,000-5,000 credits.
- Deep response in Summum: ~6,000-20,000 credits.
- Pollo CODE: multiplied by 3× (FREE) or 1.35× (Premium).
In practice, with 200,000 daily credits in FREE plan you have plenty for ~40-200 normal messages per day. With Premium (2M daily) the limit is hard to reach in normal use.
Why one-time payment instead of monthly subscription?
Most AI services charge $20-30 per month. Pollo Assistance bets the opposite: you pay $25 once and use the platform forever. We make money by:
- Operating costs (Cloudflare, Firebase, AI providers) covered by the entry payment.
- Revenue share from the extension marketplace (Pollo Assistance keeps 65% from FREE devs, 20% from Premium devs).
- The educational version (AuraEON) is free for institutions but the costs are covered by donations and educational partnerships when they exist.
